Mostly dry and hot Mediterranean but more unsettled Scandinavia

Wednesday
Fine and hot from Iberia through the central Mediterranean. A sunny, hot day in Italy with only scattered showers in the mountainous north. A few local showers inland for the Balkan States, but otherwise often sunny and fine. Scattered showers and some cloud around in Greece and Türkiye, some risk of a thundery bursts near the Black Sea.
Dry for much of central and west Europe; a mix of cloud and sun from the Low Countries through Germany, possibly more extensive in France. A few local showers over the Alps. A little showery rain in north Poland, but fine and sunny southward into Hungary, a few odd showers around in the morning. These showers moving east, becoming fairly widespread across Romania and west Ukraine; some showers into Belarus as well.
A strong westerly breeze persists through Denmark and southern Sweden - often showery here until later in the day when some sun spells will break out. Often showery in the Balkan States with plenty of sun between showers, again also fading late in the day. Showery rain fairly widespread across northern Scandinavia with decent sun spells between showers; again tending to fade late in the day, though some heavier showers will linger longer.

Thursday
A few thundery showers breaking out in southern Spain on Thursday afternoon, otherwise it should be fine and dry. Staying hot and sunny in the Balearics as well as through Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will be fine and dry with more sunshine. Greece and Turkey are going to be hot too and will be remaining dry.
France should have a fine day with sunshine here. More sunshine in the Low Countries. Germany and Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Hungary and Austria remain dry with lots of sunshine although scattered showers affect western Austria and eastern Switzerland.
Denmark will have broken cloud and a scattering of showers. The Baltic States also see a few showers as will Finland. Sweden has sunny spells and should be mostly dry. Heavier showers and gales in western and southern Norway but fine in the north.
